Review: We follow 18- year old Anabel Price ,or Bel, in this book. She is 18 years old and was the person who was left last with her mom before she disappeared. Bel is a really strong and tough girl but the past has left her emotionally affected. Her blunt honesty can sometimes come across as harsh, making her a unique and intriguing character. Another important character we follow is ash a camera assistant who helps Bel Throughout the story. Their opposite personalities create a great dynamic, making their interactions fun and enjoyable. Apart from these two Characters there are several side characters, mostly Bel´s family. The family dynamics and relationships are a central part of the story and when they are all together the scenes are the funniest and most chaotic. The plot is gripping and exciting and it's unlike anything I've read before. It is character driven since it is based on the characters' mistakes and motivation. There are many twists and turns and throughout the main part of the book you're left a bit confused. However, everything falls into place by the end. The major plot twist, while shocking, felt unrealistic and too sudden. Still, it added to the suspense and kept me engaged. Holly Jackson's writing style is simple and nothing too special. Some parts are dialogue heavy while others have little to none conversations. The book is written in third person, and the language is appropriate for a young adults since it avoids overly harsh language.

Buchbuzz Opinion:

4.5/5 - Overall the reappearance of Rachel price is an engaging mystery book suitable for anyone who enjoys suspense. Despite a few flaws, the plot stayed suspenseful and enjoyable till the end.
